Day 143: Watch out!! BIRDS!!

I'm going to upload more than 1 photo some days so I can catch up with the days I didn't take a photo (since the beginning of this year).  Hopefully I'll be able to do it before the end of the year :)

About today's photo, we where at the beach and suddenly my hubby said to me, YOU NEED TO SEE THIS!! When I open my eyes I saw thousands of birds flying over the ocean! IT WAS AMAZING!! I never saw this quantity of birds! They flew to the right and then to the left and again to the right, seemed like there was a school of fish near the shore and the birds were eating to their hearts content!!

The photo only shows a small part of the flock, I'd had need a panorama to show all of the birds.

Day 81: Early bird

Since Monday I can't move my neck and shoulders, so I wasn't able to upload the photos :(  Luckily I'm feeling better now :)

There is not much to say about this shot, I just like it :)

Day 62: Early bird

Since a month ago, this tiny little bird is tweeting outside of our bedroom's window. It starts around 8:00am and most of the time it wakes me up.  It seems like it's preparing the nest for its little future birdies. The nest will be just outside our window, on top of a pipe.

16. Day 5: Solitude

It was a beautiful day today to be outside, blue sky with no clouds, very warm under the sun.  On our walk to the lake I saw this hummingbird on the brunch (I guess he wanted to be warm and just stayed under the sun). It didn't stay there too much though but luckily it was enough time to take a couple of shots.  I'd love to have more zoom so you can see the colors of the feathers, but this was the max of my lens.
