Day 101: Infinite love

Happy Wednesday!!  It's a beautiful day today and quite hot :)  Perfect to go out for picnic or just to lay down on the grass and take a loooong nap hehe  I love Spring so much!!!

Anyway, every morning, around 6:30am my hubby do exercises at home with the dumbbells, so to avoid damage the rings he removes them.  Today, he "forgot" his rings at home, so I want to tease him a little bit longer by posting this for today's photo :D  (sorry honey, it's still payback time hihihi)

Day 100: Felt

Happy 100 posts!!!  I'll only need 265 more posts to complete this project hehehehe  I still have a long way to go, but I'm very happy to have reached this quantity of posts. I can't lie to you, it wasn't easy at all. Before I started I thought it was gonna be easy, but I was so wrong! Don't get me wrong, I think is a perfect way to improve yourself, to force you to think "outside the box" and to learn a lot!
I highly recommend you to do a 365 days project, but be aware that is gonna be a bumpy ride :)

Day 99: Seed

I can't believe I already posted 99 photos!!!!  It's been a long road!! (and honey I'm not talking about Enterprise hehehe - internal joke).  And, I'm up to date with my blog!!!! Yes, yes, yes!!!

Today's photo is a close up of one of the brown balls that hung on the tree I love, the one with the star like leaves, remember?

Day 98: A gap of light

I took this shot when the last rays of sun fell on the side of this tree.  I was lying on the bed resting when my eyes where caught by this tree and the light on it.  I jumped off the bed, grabbed my camera and click click! I only had time to take 2 shots before the trunk was covered  in shade because the sun was out of sight for the day.
I was very happy because I had the photo I envisioned.

Day 97: Rainbows

As you may have noticed I have rainbows on my wall :)  hehe I have a prism hanging from the window and in the afternoon the sun goes through the prism casting this beautiful colors.
Thanks to my hubby's help I could take this shot! Thanks a lot honey!!

Do you think I'll find a bucket of gold at the end of them?

Day 96: Tears of the sky

It was a rainy morning.  The raindrops fell on the window and stayed there for a while. I couldn't resist the temptation of photographing them.  If you look carefully you can see the trees and sky inside of each of them.

Nikon D90 (105mm  f/2.8) - 1/160s  f/14

Day 95: A tree with a fence

It was an overcast day, so no bright colors... I wanted to take a shot of this tree for a while, I find it majestic for some reason.  Unfortunately that day there were several cars next to the tree so I couldn't take the shot that I wanted, but it's ok for a first approach :)

 Nikon D90 (18-200mm  f/3.5-5.6) - 1/200s  f/9

Day 94: Pink beauty

This tree is so beautiful! You can see lots of pink flowers all over it, small and big ones.  I also like a lot the different colors of the leaves and the rough trunk that contrasts against the fragile flowers.

Nikon D90 (18-200mm  f/3.5-5.6) - 1/2000  f/5.6

Day 93: Window to the moon

I took this shot during the morning. I couldn't believe that I could see the moon as clear during the day!  If you pay attention you can also see part of the dark side of it! Sooo amazing!!

Nikon D90 (18-200mm  f/3.5-5.6)  - 1/40s  f/36

Day 92: Sunshine

Hello again!! Hopefully I'll catch up today with the blog :)  Everything is blossoming now, I love this time of the year, colors everywhere! There is no better way to tell this but with photos of nature.
I hope you'll enjoy them!

Day 91: Lines

I really like this shot even though I didn't take it with my professional camera.  I only had my cellphone.  You know, it doesn't matter what kind of camera you have, the important thing is what you want to convey with your photos and always always, like in everything, follow your heart.

LG Optimus Elite - 1/680s  f/2.8

Day 90: Beach time

My hubby and I enjoy the beach a lot! We both love to lay down on the sand (with a blanket or something, not straight on the sand), read, chat and take loooong walks with our feet on the water (so relaxing!). The downside for me it's the temperature of the water, because it's always super cold! hehehe
This day was really nice! Like in Summer even though it was Spring.

Nikon D90 (18-200mm  f/3.5-5.6) - 1/640s  f/9

Day 89: Green stars

I love this tree, the shape and color of the leaves, the spiky brown balls that hang all over it and of course the contrast against the blue sky.  This one is more like a pattern like shot, at least for me ;P

Nikon D90 (18-200mm  f/3.5-5.6) - 1/500s  f/11

Day 88: A room with a view III

This is the third and last one of the series and was taken on the evening, just before the sun went away.

Day 87: A room with a view II

This one was taken on an early morning of a beautiful day :)  I love the sun! Seems like everything is more lively and happy.

Day 86: A room with a view I

I wanted to do a series of photos of the same subject under different situations.  I used the edge of the window to frame the shots so they look more interesting.  The first one was taken on a cloudy day.

Day 85: Buddha

Well, I think this is the longest time that I stopped uploading photos here... my bad... I had weird weeks lately... so didn't feel like uploading photos...
Of course after a couple of weeks you can imagine the amount of photos I have and didn't upload, lots of work to do now :P

Day 84: Drip, drop

It's Friday again! This week went by quite quickly :)  I wanted to experiment today, I was aching to do a water shot since a long time ago but never find the time to do it :P  Today was the day!! Yay!!
I'm happy with my first attempt, even though is not perfect it's good enough for me.  If you wonder, I didn't touch the colors, they look like that when I took the shot.  The green tonality is the reflection of the trees that are next to the window and the blue is the sky.  I love natural window light!

Enjoy your weekend!

Day 83: Coins

Hello again! I'm still troubled by the quarters hehehehe  The good point though is now I can try to complete my collection of American quarters :)

Nikon D90 (105mm  f/2.8) - 1/80s  f/4

Day 82: Coins, coins and more coins

I thought there were no more laundry machines that work with coins, but I was wrong because in our community all the machines at the laundry room work with quarters! Yep! Quite annoying! You need 12 quarters for each cycle (laundry and drier machines).
I guess I'll be soon sewing the pockets of our coats...

Day 81: Early bird

Since Monday I can't move my neck and shoulders, so I wasn't able to upload the photos :(  Luckily I'm feeling better now :)
There is not much to say about this shot, I just like it :)

Day 80: Hang in there

This doves really love the wires hehehe they hung in there for a while each morning and then fly away :)
I wonder where they go after...

Day 79: Morning visitor

I keep waking up very early during the weekends :(  Mostly because there is a lot of light coming from the bedroom's window.  It is said that the early bird gets the worm and in this case it applies completely because I could catch this squirrel when she/he was going up and down the tree searching for breakfast :)

Day 78: Run for it!

For today's photo I wanted something retro and what better way to say it that the Pacman.  I played so much this game as a kid, but I wasn't very good hihi my sister was better :P
I love video games! Even now, I can stay hours and hours playing with the Play Station (the kid inside me will never go away!).

Happy Friday!

Day 77: Stripes

Finally I uploaded today's photo! :D  I'm always happy when I'm on the run again.  Today was a very beautiful day! The apartment was filled with bright sunlight and the blinds cast nice shadows.

Only one more day and ... W.E.E.K.E.N.D.!! Yay!!

Nikon D90 (50mm  f/1.8) - 1/125s  f/16

Day 76: Hedgehogs

As you may have noticed from previous posts, I LOVE this tree, the contrast between the spiky balls and the green leaves make it  look gorgeous!!  I never get bored of looking at it :D
I took this shot early morning when the sun starts to raise and baths the gifts of nature (I'm a bit poetic today hehe).

Nikon D90 (105mm  f/2.8) - 1/160s  f/11

Day 75: Strong pace

My hubby loves oil burners with a lot of detail, so I decided to take a shot of the one that he likes the most and of course it was a gift from me hihihihi
This one in particular is made of soap stone.

Nikon D90 (105mm  f/2.8) - 1/100  f/7.1

Day 74: Nothing left

This was the last day at our old apartment, the only stuff that remained were the balcony furniture.  We are going to miss the view from there because it was mostly trees and felt like you were in the middle of nowhere.

Nikon D90 (18-200mm  f/3.5-5.6) - 1/40s  f/9

Day 73: Stormy day

Hello, hello! I'm trying to catch up again with the daily photo upload hehehe Luckily we already moved to the new place and everything is almost done at home :)  so I can resume my normal activities.
The day I took the photo was kind of crappy for walking but not for photos :)  The clouds are awesome after a storm!
