Day 318: Aftermath

Happy Friday!!!  Only one more day for the weekend, it feels sooooo good! :D

Remember that I told you about the mischievous squirrels that kept on bugging my plants? Well, my poor succulent plant was vandalized several times as you can see in the photo :(
I tried everything I could think of... moth balls, cayenne pepper, squirrel repellent, ground coffee... the bright side is that at least now they come less :)

Day 299: Round World

I always liked reflection as you could have noticed by previous posts.  This ball is made of glass, I think is from Dale Chihuly (an american glass sculptor).  His work is amazing!  We were lucky to visit one of his permanent expositions when we visited Seattle.

As you could guess, this photo is not new (I took it when we were in Chicago). Truth is, the actual photo for Saturday wasn't as good as I wanted it to be (it wasn't sharp enough according to my standards) and I couldn't retake it because it was a squirrel and wasn't there anymore :(

That being said, I decided to replace it with this one :)

Day 296: Blue Splash

I have a headache since this morning and it doesn't want to go away, so today's post will be short.

I always liked the shapes that the water forms while it's dancing in the air.  They are never the same, which make them unique and beautiful.

Day 258: Gary

Gary is the new addition in our aquarium.  I love this character!  Our little fishes seem to like it also :)

Day 254: Rainbow

Everyday I have this beautiful rainbow filling the whole room, the ground and the walls.  Maybe one day I'll find the pot of gold in one of these :P

Day 219: Fall is here

Since a while ago the trees were changing their colors... that only means one thing...the summer is ended... Fall is upon us!

There are some trees though that have beautiful colors when the fall comes.  It's amazing how their leaves start changing color from green, to red, orange, yellow

Day 212: Mission Santa Barbara

This mission is stunning! So beautiful outside and inside.  It was founded by Padre Fermin Lasuen on December 4, 1786.
If you are around Santa Barbara one day, don't miss this place!

Day 211: Old Ruins

If I don't remember wrong this was the cemetery part of the Santa Barbara Mission.  It's so beautiful! I love the textures!  I wanted to ask you, which one do you prefer? The color one or the black & white?  My favorite is the first one but the black & white has more impact :)

Day 210: Triangles

This is part of the window of a temple, you couldn't believe how beautiful the temple was! I had another shot with the whole window but unfortunately there is a haze on one side that ruined the photo :(

Day 205: World Cup

When we were visiting LA, my hubby and I went to the LACMA, it's an amazing museum! (we love museums!)
There was a World Cup Expo in one of the buildings.  The first thing that we saw was the recreation of the World Cup Stadium in a very creative way.  I must say that I really love the idea that the creator had when he represented the variety of people in the world with action figures and religious figurines.

Day 202: Blue

Each time I see a mural I take a photo of it.  There are so many beautiful and colorful murals out there!  This one belonged to a bigger image, but I didn't want to include the cars that were parking next to it, so if you want to see the whole image you need to see the other two murals.

Day 193: Nature's message

The sky was full of beautiful clouds, moving around in different shapes...

If you look closely at the photo you'll see 3 clouds with quite a particular shape... do you see them?
If not, let me help you, the clouds on the left upper side form 3 letters: S O S. Now, do you see them? Quite amazing, right? Maybe it's a call to stop damaging our beautiful planet.

Day 192: Up up into the sky

Do you look at the sky when you are strolling around? Or when you go on a picnic? I just love to look at the sky! I always find something beautiful and a lot of times unexpected. I dare you to try it and see what you find :)

Day 191: Bright new sky

Long time no see!! It's been a long time since my last post.  Now that I'm fully recovered I can continue my project :)  I have a lot to catch up, but I don't care. What I really do care is learning as much as I can while doing this project :)

That being said, today's photo is about new beginnings and finding the sun even on a cloudy day, always, it doesn't matter what life throws at us, the important part is how we deal with it! They say "If life gives you lemons do a lemonade" hihihi :D

Happy Monday!!!

Day 190: Green & Yellow

I'll try to catch up with the photos that I couldn't upload in the beginning of the year :)  If you remember I started this project a while after the year was began, so if I want to finish it by the end of this year, I need to hurry :D

Day 186: Copycat

The clouds are getting weird and interesting again.  The clouds in this shot seemed to copy the shape of the tree beneath them.

Day 178: Thick clouds

I'm catching up after several of not posting any photos.  During the last week the sky continued to show  us weird, stormy like yet beautiful clouds.

Day 177: Pentagram II

I think yesterday I wanted so bad to be Friday that I totally forgot that it was Thursday hahaha The funny part is that I didn't realize of that until my husband arrived home. When he arrived I said to him, tomorrow is the book sale at the library, he smiled and said "tomorrow is Friday not Saturday" hahahaha

Luckily today IS FRIDAY, so weekend here we go!!!

Day 174: Reach out the infinity

Happy Tuesday! I feel so tired today, probably because of the weather, quite hot! Keep cool yourself if you go out :)

Day 172: Smile

There is always a reason for smiling, right?  Seems like the sky was very happy and wanted to smile to all of us :)
