Day 299: Round World

I always liked reflection as you could have noticed by previous posts.  This ball is made of glass, I think is from Dale Chihuly (an american glass sculptor).  His work is amazing!  We were lucky to visit one of his permanent expositions when we visited Seattle.

As you could guess, this photo is not new (I took it when we were in Chicago). Truth is, the actual photo for Saturday wasn't as good as I wanted it to be (it wasn't sharp enough according to my standards) and I couldn't retake it because it was a squirrel and wasn't there anymore :(

That being said, I decided to replace it with this one :)

Day 199: Stripes and Stars

I took this shot thinking on the 4th of July but in the end I didn't use it :P

Day 194: Reflections III

As you can tell I like reflections :)  I couldn't miss this nice tree on the back windshield of the car. I made it like a panorama to make the tree the center of attention.

Day 161: Swan Lake

One of our stops was this gorgeous and peaceful temple called Self-Realization Fellowship Lake Shrine Temple.  It's located in Los Angeles.  It has a lake with 2 swans that always swim together.
If you go to LA stop here, you won't be disappointed :)

Day 158: Reflections II

I can't resist a good reflection and the time of the day was perfect for the shot :)

Day 123: Peacefulness

Hello!! How was the long weekend? We spent it relaxing in beautiful places. I took this photo in Filoli Gardens, if you never visited this place you should! It's so beautiful and serene. They have thousands of flowers and gorgeous gardens. They have free tours everyday and they walk you through the history of the place.

Day 102: Reflection of another world

Only one more day of work and then W.E.E.K.E.N.D.!! I'm soooo looking forward to it! :D
We are spending more time on our balcony now, thanks to the beautiful warm days.  We enjoy a lot having dinner there while chatting.  If you can also do it, don't hesitate!! Go for it!

Day 53: Through the glass

This weekend we wanted to do something different for lunch, so my hubby and I tried a new restaurant downtown.  The place was very nice with a french atmosphere.  In general the glasses at restaurants are quite ordinary, but this ones were really beautiful! I loved the shape of the grip, so without second thoughts I grabbed my camera and start shooting.

17. Day 6: Reflections I

Another week just started... I'm feeling a bit lazy already hihi maybe because of my busy morning and afternoon or maybe because I'm starting to have a headache... who knows...

Anyway, during my morning walk I discovered a bunch of pansies all covered with water drops (probably the sprinklers had been turned off not long ago), they look gorgeous!  So, I crouched and started my shooting.

(Let me tell you that taking photographs is a great exercise, you need to stretch, crouch, kneel, keep your body balance and in perfect equilibrium to reach the subject of your photos and of course, DON'T BREATH, otherwise, your photo has a lot of probabilities to be blurry.)
