Day 352: Candy House

Hey, hey, hey!!!  I've returned!!  I was sick since last Thursday :(  Boomer! I got a cold with sore throat :(  Luckily I'm much better now, still have cough though... hopefully I'll get rid of it soon :)

This house is close to our place and I wanted to take of photo of it since the day I saw it hehehe This house remind me of the witch's house in the Hansel & Gretel fairy tail :P  Just in case, I'll stay far away... hihi

Day 349: Christmas Wreath

Since we moved to the US in 2010 I could spend time discovering new things and new passions because I had a lot of free time.  Photography was the most important discovery.  Thanks to my hubby's support and encouragement I started this beautiful art.  I realized that I love to take photos and express my creativity through it :D

Besides of photography I discovered that I also like to do things with felt and fabrics. The wreath that you are seeing was made by me from scratch (except for the plastic balls, I bought them at Michael's).

Day 289: Cracked

I woke up today thinking it was Friday :(  Grrrr!!  Seems like the weekend doesn't want to come!!

About today's photo, I liked the texture of the material trying to get out of the crack.

Day 266: Gridded colors

I was experimenting with the camera again :)  My original idea wasn't this photo but truth is I didn't like my original idea once I could see it, so I tried other approaches and voila!

Day 249: A part of me

I love these flats!! They were a gift from one of my girlfriends :)  Thanks Romi!!! I also love the green polish of my nails.  Green is my favorite color! hihi

Day 230: Waves

I love the sea! Its sound is sooo soothing.  There is nothing I enjoy more than to be with my hubby on the beach feeling the water under our feet :) (he would probably add "and kissing a lot!" hehe)

Day 217: Wild Art

I was with my hubby on a weird viewpoint (not much to see) somewhere on Highway 1 when I saw this graffiti on one of the rocks.  Even thou I like the graffiti I still don't understand why some people would paint on rocks, I mean it was much beautiful before the graffiti.

Day 210: Triangles

This is part of the window of a temple, you couldn't believe how beautiful the temple was! I had another shot with the whole window but unfortunately there is a haze on one side that ruined the photo :(

Day 205: World Cup

When we were visiting LA, my hubby and I went to the LACMA, it's an amazing museum! (we love museums!)

There was a World Cup Expo in one of the buildings.  The first thing that we saw was the recreation of the World Cup Stadium in a very creative way.  I must say that I really love the idea that the creator had when he represented the variety of people in the world with action figures and religious figurines.

Day 202: Blue

Each time I see a mural I take a photo of it.  There are so many beautiful and colorful murals out there!  This one belonged to a bigger image, but I didn't want to include the cars that were parking next to it, so if you want to see the whole image you need to see the other two murals.

Day 193: Nature's message

The sky was full of beautiful clouds, moving around in different shapes...

If you look closely at the photo you'll see 3 clouds with quite a particular shape... do you see them?

If not, let me help you, the clouds on the left upper side form 3 letters: S O S. Now, do you see them? Quite amazing, right? Maybe it's a call to stop damaging our beautiful planet.

Day 192: Up up into the sky

Do you look at the sky when you are strolling around? Or when you go on a picnic? I just love to look at the sky! I always find something beautiful and a lot of times unexpected. I dare you to try it and see what you find :)

Day 191: Bright new sky

Long time no see!! It's been a long time since my last post.  Now that I'm fully recovered I can continue my project :)  I have a lot to catch up, but I don't care. What I really do care is learning as much as I can while doing this project :)

That being said, today's photo is about new beginnings and finding the sun even on a cloudy day, always, it doesn't matter what life throws at us, the important part is how we deal with it! They say "If life gives you lemons do a lemonade" hihihi :D

Day 186: Copycat

The clouds are getting weird and interesting again.  The clouds in this shot seemed to copy the shape of the tree beneath them.
